Mr. Mohamed Baiumy
Bio
I am a fifth year Industrial Engineering Student at Dalhousie University. I have completed two Co-Op terms. The first Co-Op job was with MEOPAR and Dalhousie University where I worked as research assistant. My principal accomplishment during this term was developing a comprehensive scenario that addresses a natural disaster (submarine landslide) that may occur on the Fraser River on the West Coast of Canada. My second educational Co-Op term was at Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. where I worked as an industrial engineering student. During this term I created two different prediction models using Excel VBA that accurately predicts the impact of increasing workload on Michelin’s tire building lines, workforce, and forklift drivers. I am also an active and a contributing member in Nova Scotia Fitness Association where we hold events, train, and educate fitness trainers and people. Finally, I am a VP logistics with Dalhousie Industrial Engineering Society.
